Actor Earl Smith appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Smith's acting career began mostly with his roles in various films, such as the adventurous drama "The Macomber Affair" (1947) with Gregory Peck, "Abandoned" (1949) with Dennis O'Keefe and the Alan Arkin comedic drama "Rafferty and the Gold Dust Twins" (1975). He also appeared in "Speedtrap" (1977) with Joe Don Baker. He also starred in the TV movies "Relentless" (CBS, 1977-78) and "The Incredible Rocky Mountain Race" (NBC, 1977-78). Smith was also credited in "Louis L'Amour's The Sacketts" (1978-79), "I Married Wyatt Earp" (NBC, 1982-83) and "Kenny Rogers As the Gambler -- The Adventure Continues" (1983-84). He also was recognized in "September Gun" (CBS, 1983-84), "Ninja III - The Domination" with Lucinda Dickey (1984) and "King Kong Lives" with Peter Elliot (1986). Smith was additionally credited in "Track 29" (1988) starring Theresa RussellSmith was most recently credited in "Bermuda Triangle" (ABC, 1995-96). Smith passed away in December 1968 at the age of 57.
