British rockers Echo And The Bunnymen have been forced to cancel a string of shows in England after frontman Ian Mcculloch fell ill. The band was due to play in Wolverhampton on Sunday (11May14) and Newcastle on Tuesday (13May14), but they scrapped both gigs after McCulloch lost his voice.
A post on the group’s Facebook.com page reads, “Ian’s voice is still not right… you all deserve the best from us – and it’s what this record deserves as well. We’ll be rescheduling this for as soon as possible.”
They are expected to return to the stage in Manchester, England on Wednesday night (14May14).
