Ed Hartwell denies Keshia Knight Pulliam’s claims of mental and emotional abuse

Ed Hartwell has said estranged wife Keshia Knight Pulliam should be ashamed of herself after alleging he plotted to kill their unborn baby.
The former NFL player hit back at Keshia’s claims in court documents that he was purposefully trying to make her have a miscarriage through his “cruel treatment”
The 37-year-old former The Cosby Show star accused her partner of emotional abuse, recalling his alleged cursing and yelling during their brief time together as husband and wife.
Now Hartwell denies the allegations in court documents filed on Wednesday (17Aug16), and said the five-months pregnant actress should be “ashamed” of herself.
“(She) should be ashamed of herself for ever making such false and offensive allegations,” he said in paperwork filed in a Georgia Superior Court, Us Weekly reports.
“If either party has been mentally and emotionally abusive toward the other, it is (Pulliam),” the document stated.
The 38-year-old ex-sportsman also dismissed speculation he was trying to profit from the end of their relatively short marriage, and denied Keshia’s accusations that he cheated. Hartwell also refused to undergo a psychological evaluation, despite Pulliam’s request earlier this month (Aug16).
The estranged couple married in December, 2015, after only dating for four months. Hartwell filed for divorce in July (16), just a week after Keshia announced she was expecting their first child.
