After inviting 40 of their close friends and family to an engagement party at a home in California, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes surprised everyone with an actual wedding on Friday. The bride wore a Reem Acra gown and she and Cibrian recited personalized vows to each other, and cut the cake while the song, “I Got You Babe” played in the background (which apparently, was the song they sang at a karaoke bar during the wrap party of their movie, Northern Lights, in Canada, back when both of them were still married to other people. Guests found it particularly interesting when, while making a toast, Cibrian said, “Someone loves the fucking microphone and that’s me! We’ve both had much larger weddings before, about 100-150 people both, but we just wanted our closest of friends and family here with us tonight. The next one will be even smaller, though.” LeAnn added, “I love you all. Now let’s have some cake, bitches!”
On Easter Sunday, Rimes continued celebrating her recent nuptials on Twitter. She wrote, “Happy Easter Sunday my beautiful friends. Coffee…me, the computer…Eddie [and] the Sunday newspaper…waves crashing…holding hands…nice way to start it! My first Easter as a WIFE! God thank you for your goodness. May we all be blessed today and forever!” Interestingly enough, it wasn’t Rimes’s first Easter as a wife — in fact, she’d spent eight of them with her ex-husband, Dean Sheremet. How nice for him, right?
