Biography

Eddy Waller worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Waller started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Small Town Boy" (1937), "State Police" (1938) and the western "The Great Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok" (1938) with Gordon Elliott. He also appeared in "The New Frontier" (1939) with John Wayne, the Claire Trevor western "Allegheny Uprising" (1939) and the historical feature "Jesse James" (1939) with Tyrone Power. His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "My Kingdom For a Cook" (1943), "Cinderella Swings It" (1943) and "Raiders of Ghost City" (1944). He also appeared in "A Lady Takes a Chance" (1944). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Ida Lupino drama "Lust For Gold" (1949), "Bandit King of Texas" (1949) and "Marshal of Cedar Rock" (1953). He also appeared in the western "The Last Posse" (1953) with Broderick Crawford and the James Stewart adventurous drama "The Far Country" (1955). Waller most recently worked on "Mardi Gras 2000" (1999-2000).
