Biography

Edgar Edwards was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Edwards's career beginnings included film roles in the romance "His Brother's Wife" (1936) with Barbara Stanwyck, "Convicted" (1938) and the drama "Code of the Secret Service" (1939) with Ronald Reagan. Edwards then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "The Adventures of Jane Arden" (1939), the action movie "Wings of the Navy" (1939) with George Brent and "Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe" (1940). He also appeared in the adventure "One Million B.C." (1940) with Victor Mature. Later in his career, Edwards acted in the Victor McLaglen comedy "Broadway Limited" (1941). Edwards passed away in October 1973 at the age of 62.
