Biography

Throughout his entertainment career as an accomplished actor, Edgar Godineaux graced the silver screen many times. Godineaux worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Motown 30: What's Goin' On!" (CBS, 1990-91), "The Five Heartbeats" with Robert Townsend (1991) and "Ryan Caulfield: Year One" (Fox, 1999-2000). Later, he acted in the Liam Neeson comedy "Gun Shy" (2000), "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" (2001-2011) and the Renee Zellweger smash hit crime adaptation "Chicago" (2002). He also appeared in "South Beach" (UPN, 2005-06) and "Idlewild" (2006) with Andre Benjamin. More recently, Godineaux appeared on "The 30th Annual Kennedy Center Honors" (CBS, 2007-08).
