Fabio asks celebrity burglary victims to help police

Veteran model Fabio has pleaded with fellow burglary victims Nicki Minaj and Alanis Morissette to help Los Angeles police end a burglary “epidemic”.
The Italian-American star had valuables worth around $200,000 (£156,000) stolen when a safe in his home was taken by thieves earlier this year (17).
As well as Fabio, full name Fabio Lanzoni, thieves have also targeted the homes of Nicki, Alanis and basketball star Derek Fisher this year, and Fabio has pleaded with the star victims to go public and help the police catch those responsible.
“I’m telling you every single celebrity out there I know, a lot of celebrities, Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morissette, Derek Fisher, please come out, support the cops, this is a people issue, and we need your support,” he told U.S. broadcaster CBS Los Angeles.
Explaining that thieves were not specifically targeting celebrities, but wealthy L.A. residents, he said, “They see a nice home, they see nice cars, they burglarise everybody, just in my area (in) the month of March, more than 350 homes (were targeted), and just a section of Los Angeles. It’s an epidemic.”
An upset Fabio said he had lost four beautiful watches and a gold coin collection in the burglary. He said, “You feel violated, angry, upset, it’s your home.”
In February (17), Starships singer Nicki had $200,000 worth of valuables stolen, while Alanis reportedly had $2 million (£1.6 million) worth of jewellery pinched.
