Faith Evans worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. Evans worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "10th Annual Soul Train Music Awards" (WB, 1995-96), "ABC in Concert" (ABC, 1990-98) and "America's War on Poverty" (PBS, 1994-95). She also contributed to "Hav Plenty" (1998) starring Chenoa Maxwell, "High School High" (1996) and "Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards" (1996-97). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Evans's music mostly appeared in films like the comedic drama "The Best Man" (1999) with Taye Diggs, "Save the Last Dance" (2001) with Julia Stiles and the Jackie Chan smash hit action flick "Rush Hour 2" (2001). Evans's music was featured in "The Wackness" (2008) with Josh Peck, the Jamal Woolard dramatic musical "Notorious" (2009) and "Dance Flick" (2009) with Damon Wayans, Jr.. In addition to her music, Evans also appeared on-screen in the Cuba Gooding Jr. musical comedy "The Fighting Temptations" (2003).
