Biography

Actor-musician Flavor Flav made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen for more than two decades. Flav worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "CB4" (1993), "Jungle Fever" (1991) and "Listen Up" (1990) starring Quincy Jones. He also contributed to "Mo' Better Blues" (1990) starring Denzel Washington, "Mo' Money" with Damon Wayans (1992) and "New Jack City" with Wesley Snipes (1991). In the early 2000s, Flav devoted his time to various credits, such as the Carmen Electra and Shawn Wayans smash hit "Scary Movie" (2000), "Jackass: The Movie" (2002) starring Johnny Knoxville and "Confessions of a Pit Fighter" (2005). He also worked on "Death of a Dynasty" (2005) starring Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Public Enemy: Welcome to the Terrordome" (2007) and "Nite Tales" (2008). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Under One Roof" (MyNetwork TV, 2007-09). Flav also contributed music to the action picture "XXX: State of the Union" (2005) with Ice Cube. Flav most recently acted in "Body High" (2014).
