Florida Georgia Line and Kenny Chesney songs to feature in new stage musical

Hits by Florida Georgia Line, Kenny Chesney, and Dolly Parton are heading to the stage as part of a new country music stage show.
A production called May We All is in development by officials at Lively McCabe Entertainment, who have picked up the rights to the new musical, featuring a book by Troy Britton Johnson and A Color Purple producer Todd Johnson.
The title is taken from Florida Georgia Line’s 2016 collaboration with Tim McGraw, while the show focuses on “fledgling country singer” Jenna Coates, who returns home from a “rough start” in Nashville, Tennessee as she tries to find another way to pursue her music dreams.
The musical will also feature tunes by Luke Bryan, Faith Hill, and Loretta Lynn, among others, reports Deadline.
A projected launch date and location has yet to be announced.
