Biography

Frankie Laine brought amazing music to a variety of big screen productions over the course of his career. Laine worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Blowing Wild" with Gary Cooper (1953), "Bring Your Smile Along" (1955), "He Laughed Last" (1956), "Rainbow 'Round My Shoulder" (1952), "Strange Lady in Town" (1955) and "The Frankie Laine Show." In the fifties and the seventies, Laine devoted his time to various credits, such as "Meet Me in Las Vegas" (1956) starring Dan Dailey, "3:10 to Yuma" (1957), "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" with Burt Lancaster (1957) and "All This and World War II" (1976) starring Martin J Machat. Laine had a number of different projects under his belt in the seventies through the early 2000s, including "The Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo" (NBC, 1979-1980), "Jennifer Eight" (1992), "Miss Patti Page: The Singing Rage" (PBS, 1998-99) and "Chopper" (2001) starring Eric Bana. Laine last provided music for "Hollywoodland" (2006) with Adrien Brody. Laine was married to Nan Grey. Frankie Laine passed away in February 2007 at the age of 94.
