Everybody do the Carlton dance: Alfonso Ribeiro is married!
According to People, the 41-year-old star — best known to audiences for his work on Silver Spoons and as Carlton Banks, the hilariously uptight, albeit dance-happy cousin of Will Smith‘s on the 90s comedy The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air — tied the knot with his fiance Angela Unkrich, 31, in Los Angeles on Saturday, October 13. It’s the second marriage for Ribeiro, who has a 9-year-old daughter named Sienna with his ex-wife Robin Stapler, and Unkrich’s first.
The newlyweds, who became engaged back in July, gushed about their impending nuptials on Twitter as Unkrich posted “Cannot wait to see this man today…” with a picture of herself and Ribeiro. Ribeiro is a constant source of Internet fascination, whether it’s a death hoax (which he had a good sense of humor about) to those endlessly entertaining dancing Carlton GIFs.
The actor recently reprised his classic role for a new generation when he appeared on the hit Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush.
