G-Eazy allowed to leave Sweden after drug arrest

Rapper G-Eazy is set to fly out of Sweden on Friday (04May18) after he was charged with assault and drug possession and released from police custody.
The hip-hop star was arrested early on Thursday following a brawl at a Stockholm club, but he’ll escape jail time and will walk away from the drama.
The rapper’s Swedish lawyer, Mikael Westerlund, has confirmed his client is a “free man” in a statement to The Blast.
It’s not clear what G-Eazy’s punishment will be, but he was caught with 1.5 grams of cocaine and a rolled up $100 bill when he was arrested after fighting with security guards. His girlfriend, singer Halsey, was also present during the fracas.
G-Eazy reportedly admitted to purchasing and using drugs, as well as punching a security guard in the face.
He is scheduled to perform in Denmark on Sunday (06May18).
