Gabrielle Anwar & Catherine Oxenberg to make vagina movie

Actresses Gabrielle Anwar and Catherine Oxenberg are set to step behind the camera to co-direct a new documentary about the vagina. The two stars, who will also produce the provocative film, will team up with Anwar’s editor father Tariq for the project.
The Scent of a Woman star says, “In my opinion, the vagina is just a delicious, delightful, very serious and incredibly funny part of the body. We’ll be shooting it in the fall, and my father will be cutting it. He’s a very sophisticated film editor, but I’m not sure how he’s going to handle this subject matter. I guess we’ll find out.”
Anwar adds, “We’ll also be launching an educational website so people can learn these techniques we’re trying to teach women and men in order for women to fulfil their greatest power potential and feel their deepest bliss.”
The actresses-turned-filmmakers will interview gynaecologists, scholars and leading spiritualists for the film and Anwar is also hoping to persuade family friend Sting and his wife Trudie Styler to get involved – and open up about their fabled tantric sex sessions: “He is a friend of my father, so maybe I can wangle my way in. We might get his wife, Trudie Styler, and we’re definitely interviewing their tantric instructor.”
