Gemma Chan and Barry Keoghan joining The Eternals – report

Gemma Chan and Barry Keoghan have reportedly been tapped to star in Marvel’s The Eternals.
The film will follow the adventures of the superpowered beings as they battle against their monstrous enemies the Deviants, which were created by cosmic entities known as Celestials.
Sources told Variety the Crazy Rich Asians star is set to join the already impressive cast, which includes Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek and Kumail Nanjiani.
Keoghan, who shot to fame in Christopher Nolan’s war epic Dunkirk, is also set to star.
Chan previously appeared in the box office smash Captain Marvel, however it’s unclear whether the star will reprise that role of play a different character.
Last month, it was announced that Oscar winner Jolie would play Thena, Madden will be playing Ikaris and Hayek will play Ajak, the mother of the Eternals.
The Eternals, which is directed by Chloe Zhao and based on the 1976 Marvel comic book, is set to be released in November 2020.
