George Harris worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Harris kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Three Bad Men" (1926) with George O'Brien, the Arthur Pentelow drama "The Peace Game" (1969) and the William C Reilly comedy "The Broad Coalition" (1971). He also appeared in "Yanks" (1979) and the adventure "The Dogs of War" (1980) with Christopher Walken. He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the documentary "Vernon, Florida" (1981) with Claude Register, the Dennis Hopper fantastical comedy "The American Way" (1987) and "Slaves of New York" (1989). He also appeared in the comedic adventure "See No Evil, Hear No Evil" (1989) with Gene Wilder. He was a regular in the boy wizard blockbuster franchise "Harry Potter," appearing in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (2010), "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" (2011), and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (2007). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in "Madeline" (1998) with Frances McDormand, the Ute Lemper drama "Appetite" (2001) and the Josh Hartnett box office smash dramatic adaptation "Black Hawk Down" (2001). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Emperor's New Clothes" (2002) with Ian Holm and the drama "The Interpreter" (2005) with Nicole Kidman. Harris also acted in "The Heavy."
