Biography

Political pundit Glenn Beck built an empire by way of every incendiary comment that came out of his mouth, gaining millions of followers as host of the syndicated radio talk show, "The Glenn Beck Program" (2002- ) and the nightly news program "Glenn Beck" (Fox News Channel, 2009- ). Both shows afforded Beck, a self-proclaimed conservative with libertarian leanings, a regular platform where he led the charge against healthcare reform in early 2010 by fueling the Tea Party members' fire, and blasted everyone from President Barack Obama, the liberal media, environmentalists, and Hollywood filmmakers James Cameron and Michael Moore along the way. While people either loved or loathed him, Beck undoubtedly ingrained himself as one of the most popular and polarizing figures in the new millennium's American media.
