Biography

Gordon Thompson worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Family Man" (CBS, 1979-1980). He had a part on the television special "Castle Rock" (CBS, 1980-81). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "High Hopes" (1977-78). In the eighties, Thompson devoted his time to various credits, such as "Mario" (1984), "I've Heard the Mermaids Singing" (1987) starring Sheila McCarthy and "Nowhere to Hide" (1987) starring Amy Madigan. He also worked on "A Winter Tan" (1988) and "Soap Opera Digest Awards" (NBC, 1988-89). Thompson continued to exercise his talent in the eighties and the nineties, taking on a mix of projects like "Strangers in Town" (1988) starring Dr. Bernard Robaire, "The Understudy: Graveyard Shift II" with Michael A Miranda (1989) and "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000). His credits also expanded to "Star-athon '92: A Weekend With the Stars" (1991-92). Thompson most recently appeared on "Dynasty: The E! True Hollywood Story" (E! Networks, 2001-02).
