In the early 2000s and the 2010s, Gotye's music mostly appeared in films like "The Bank Job" (2008) with Jason Statham, the dramatic comedy "Whip It" (2009) with Ellen Page and the romantic comedy "Going the Distance" (2010) with Drew Barrymore.
