Grant Lee Phillips
Actor-musician Grant Lee Phillips made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. At the beginning of his Hollywood career, Phillips had music featured mostly in comedies like "With Honors" (1994) with Joe Pesci and Brendan Fraser and "Uncorked" (2001). An an actor as well as a musician, Phillips took on a part in "Gilmore Girls" (2000-07). In the early 2000s, Phillips's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "ZigZag" (2002) and the romantic comedy "Easy" (2004) with Marguerite Moreau. Phillips's music was most recently used in the Justin Timberlake comedy "Friends with Benefits" (2011). In the early 2000s, Phillips lent his talents to projects like "Ugly Betty" (ABC, 2006-2010), "Arctic Tale" with Queen Latifah (2007) and "The Return of Jezebel James" (Fox, 2007-08). His credits also expanded to "Largo" with Jon Brion (2008).
