Biography

Gregg Berger is known largely as a voice actor for animated programs and video games, though he has also appeared in a number of television series. He was credited with "Additional Voices" on Hanna-Barbera's "The Jetsons" in '62, and 10 years later, he provided voices for characters on the English version of the anime "TranZor Z." In '78, Berger had a small role in the cult film "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes!." Throughout the early '80s, Berger made appearances on sitcoms like "Lou Grant," "One Day at a Time," and "Too Close for Comfort." He also had parts in films like "Love Streams" ('84) and "Inside Out" ('86), and he was featured in a recurring role as Dr. Van Werner on the '80s dramatic series "St. Elsewhere." But Berger is better-known for his work as a voice actor; he voiced characters on "The Transformers," "The Garfield Show," "G.I. Joe," and "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters," to name only a few. Berger's role as Cornfed Pig, the deadpan sidekick of "Duckman," is fondly remembered by many animation fans. He has also contributed voice work to various video games, including "Age of Empires III," "Final Fantasy X," "Kingdom Hearts II," and "X-Men: The Official Game."
