Kiwi by birth, Guy Doleman built his career as an actor in many successful Hollywood movies. Early on in his acting career, Doleman landed roles in various films, including the Maureen O'Hara adventure "Kangaroo" (1952), the action flick "His Majesty O'Keefe" (1953) with Burt Lancaster and the Ray Milland thrilling adaptation "Dial M For Murder" (1954). He also appeared in "On the Beach" (1959) with Gregory Peck, the adventure "Captain Sinbad" (1963) with Guy Williams and "The Ipcress File" (1965). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "Thunderball" (1965) with Sean Connery, the Michael Caine action picture "Funeral in Berlin" (1966) and the drama "The Idol" (1966) with Jennifer Jones. He also appeared in "Billion Dollar Brain" (1967). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Prisoner" (1967-69). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Murder, She Wrote" (1984-1996). He also was featured in the TV movie "Tagget" (1990-91). Doleman last acted in "Early Frost." Guy Doleman passed away in February 1996 at the age of 73.
