Harry Styles to go ahead with BRITs performance after ex Caroline Flack’s death – report

Harry Styles is reportedly planning to go ahead with his performance at the Brit Awards following the death of his ex-girlfriend Caroline Flack.

The 26-year-old singer is just one of the stars set to take to the stage at London’s O2 Arena on Tuesday night (February 18, 2020), and is also up for two awards – British Album and British Male Solo Artist.

And despite questions as to whether he’d still perform at the ceremony after news broke on Saturday that his former love Caroline had taken her own life, a source close to the former One Direction star has insisted he will.

“Despite the tragic news which will have affected him deeply, Harry’s booking for the BRIT Awards has not changed,” a source told the Daily Star Online. “He will perform during the show as planned.”

Following the news of the death of Love Island presenter Caroline, Harry’s mother Anne Twist tweeted on Saturday: “Heartbreaking #ripcarolineflack.”

She also retweeted a message which read: “Nobody should be made to feel like they don’t belong on this earth, nobody! Nobody should be made to feel so frightened and bereft of options they decide to take their own life.”

Harry and Caroline made headlines worldwide when they started dating, with the age gap between the then 17-year-old singer and 31-year-old presenter a source of much debate.

Following their split, they remained close friends, but Harry has yet to speak publicly about Caroline’s tragic death.
