Biography

Harry Wilson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Wilson began his career with roles in the adaptation "Anything Goes" (1936) with Bing Crosby, the Burt Lancaster drama "Brute Force" (1947) and the Joan Fontaine crime flick "Kiss the Blood Off My Hands" (1948). Wilson next focused his career on film, appearing in "The Enforcer" (1951) with Humphrey Bogart, the adventure "The Golden Blade" (1953) with Rock Hudson and "The Silver Chalice" (1954). He also appeared in the Marlon Brando adaptation "Guys and Dolls" (1955), "Some Like It Hot" (1959) with Marilyn Monroe and the comedy "Ocean's Eleven" (1960) with Frank Sinatra. Wilson was most recently credited in the Woody Allen comedy "Zelig" (1983). Wilson passed away in September 1978 at the age of 81.
