It’s been 12 years since the sensation we now know and love as Mean Girls first hit the big screens. Not only did the film give us the best one-liners, it also debuted Rachel McAdams and gave us one of the finest highlights of Lindsay Lohan‘s career. Most importantly, it gave us Gretchen Wieners, the Plastic’s Princess who kept trying to make, “so fetch” work. Though Regina George was clearly the Queen of the Plastics, Gretchen was probably my favorite. After all, her father invented toaster strudel so that made her legendary in my book. But what happened to actress Lacey Chabert who played the iconic character once Mean Girls wrapped?
It turns out that Chabert has been super busy in the past twelve years, and though you might not have seen her face, you’ve certainly heard her voice. Until 2012, Chabert voiced Meg on Family Guy, she voiced Dani Burns on Transformers: Rescue Bots and she had a recurring role on the Freeform series, Baby Daddy. This year, Chabert will be starring in a TV film, A Wish For Christmas and in the horror film, Acre Beyond the Pine.

Still, these aren’t the most important recent developments in Chabert’s life. On September 1, 2016, she and her husband welcomed their fist child, a daughter named, Julia Mimi Bella.
How gorgeous is this little one?!
“And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, ‘Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you.'” #TBT to the best day of my life. One week ago I became a mom to this precious angel. Julia Mimi Bella 💗 Julia, you are my heart’s deepest dream come true. I love you more than I could ever say. Welcome to this big beautiful world sweet girl!
