Hilary Duff adopts senior dog with boyfriend Matthew Koma

Actress Hilary Duff has adopted a new dog just weeks after the death of her pet Dubois.
The Younger star has taken to Instagram to introduce her new rescue pooch to her fans.
“Hey guys!,” she writes alongside a picture of her new furry friend and boyfriend Matthew Koma. “We adopted an old dog, thank you so much @loveleorescue”.
Hilary’s 10-year-old dog Dubois passed away last month (Feb18) and she paid tribute to him in a heartfelt post on the social media site.
“I never let myself imagine what this day would look or feel like,” she wrote. “It was us. And we were invincible. I am having to look into your beautiful amber almond shaped eyes and tell you goodbye today. And honestly I would take the pain of losing you 10x (times) over to have had you for even a quarter of that time my dubie…”
Meanwhile, the adoption comes months after Hilary confirmed she had rekindled her romance with music producer Matthew. They began dating in 2016, shortly after her romance with her personal trainer Jason Walsh fizzled out, but they parted ways last April (17).
She was seen embracing businessman Ely Sandvik in July (17), sparking rumours of a new summer romance, but in September (17), Hilary was back in Matthew’s arms as she celebrated her 30th birthday.
And during an appearance on chat show The Talk in December (17), Hilary confirmed she is dating someone for a third time, although she didn’t mention Matthew by name.
“Timing is such a big deal, third time’s a charm,” she said. “I think that you have history and a past with someone, and love, and just because it doesn’t work out the first or second time, as long as there’s not too much damage done, then it can always work out again.”
The singer and actress split from Mike Comrie, the father of her four-year-old son Luca, in 2014, after three years of marriage. They finalised their divorce in February, 2016, but remain close friends.
