The New York Daily News reports Moore has sparked a bidding war between publishers for his tome, Controlling Chaos – a business manual about how he moulded Hilton into a “global icon”.
He boasts the book shows how he “managed to save his mercurial client from disgrace by manipulating the media, and Paris herself”.
A letter to potential publishers adds, “Paris was oftentimes her own worst enemy, making a sex tape with a former boyfriend, nursing hangovers during photo shoots, falling asleep everywhere, and getting thrown in jail for numerous driving violations. If Paris Hilton didn’t have Jason Moore pulling the strings, cleaning up her messes… she could well have faded into oblivion.
Moore did not sign a confidentiality agreement during his time managing House of Wax star Hilton, with whom he parted ways last year (08) amid rumours of a rift between Hilton and Moore’s wife.
Moore and his Literary Group agent, Frank Weimann, declined to comment.
