Honeysuckle Weeks under curfew for driving offences

British actress Honeysuckle Weeks has been ordered to obey a night-time curfew over a series of driving offences.
The Foyle’s War star pleaded guilty to speeding and driving while disqualified at a hearing at Wimbledon Magistrates Court in London last month (Jan16), and she has been fitted with an electronic tag to ensure she sticks to an agreement to stay at home between the hours of 9pm and 7am for four weeks.
Weeks, who plays the driver of a police detective in the TV drama, was convicted following an incident in August (15) when police stopped the 36 year old’s car on suspicion of speeding, and the actress was found to have been previously disqualified from driving.
As well as the curfew, Weeks, who previously dated movie star Hugh Grant, was fined a total of $570 (£395) including costs and has been disqualified from driving for a further four months.
