The former Dawson’s Creek star is teaming up with producer Robert Evans and director Matthew Gratzner for an updated version of the series, about a pilot who joins a secret organisation dedicated to fighting aliens.
Production on the film is expected to begin early next year (10), reports trade paper Daily Variety.
The original sci-fi show was created by Gerry Anderson and Sylvia Anderson and aired in the U.K. from 1970 to 1971.
