Jackson looking for a label

Pop singer Michael Jackson is shopping his label MJJ Records, a joint deal with Sony Music, to other label groups, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The label, which was launched in 1993 as part of a multimedia deal, is still under contract with Sony. Sony, however, probably won’t have a problem with Jackson, who has signed with Sony’s Epic Records Group, making some changes at MJJ, since the label has yet to produce any mega-selling acts. MJJ Records president and CEO Jerry Greenberg, exited the post in February, with a replacement not yet announced. Jackson has completed a new album with no official date for release set.
