Biography

Actor James Carpinello was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. In 1999, he starred as Tony Manero in the Broadway production of "Saturday Night Fever." In 1999, he headlined the L.A. revival of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." He began his acting career with roles in the series "Felicity" (1998-2002), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012). He also appeared in "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-) and "The Closer" (TNT, 2004-2011). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "So noTORIous" (2005-06), "In Plain Sight" (USA, 2007-2012) and "Castle" (ABC, 2008-). He also appeared in "The Good Wife" (CBS, 2009-). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the dramatic adaptation "The Punisher" (2004) with Thomas Jane and "The Great Raid" (2005) with Benjamin Bratt. In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "Blue Bloods" (2010-), "Body of Proof" (ABC, 2010-13) and "Person of Interest" (CBS, 2011-). He also appeared in "The Mob Doctor" (Fox, 2012-13). He also appeared in the crime drama "Gangster Squad" (2013) with Josh Brolin. Most recently, Carpinello acted in the black comedy "Let's Kill Ward's Wife" (2014) with Scott Foley.
