James Ritz has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Ritz worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Good Times" (CBS, 1973-79), "Grand Theft Auto" with Ron Howard (1977) and "Leo and Loree" with Don Most (1980). He also contributed to "Neil Sedaka Steppin' Out" (NBC, 1976-77), "Night Shift" (1982) and "Real Life" (1979). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the comedic fantasy "Splash" (1984) with Tom Hanks, "Cocoon" (1985) and "Gung Ho" (1986) with Michael Keaton. In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the Jim Carrey hit fantastical comedy "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (2000), "Cinderella Man" (2005) with Russell Crowe and the Frank Langella dramatic adaptation "Frost/Nixon" (2008). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Rescue 77" (WB, 1998-99). Ritz most recently acted in the Tom Hanks box office smash thrilling adaptation "Angels & Demons" (2009).
