James Rosemond’s murder case ends in mistrial

A judge has declared a mistrial in a murder case involving music mogul James Rosemond. Rosemond, 49, also known as Jimmy Henchman, was accused of murder and conspiracy for his alleged involvement in a plot to kill an associate, Lowell ‘Lodi Mack’ Fletcher, who was shot dead in 2009.
The case collapsed on Friday (07Mar14) when a judge at a federal court in New York City declared a mistrial after the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict.
Co-defendant Rodney Johnson was also accused of the same charges. It is not known whether prosecutors will push for a retrial.
