If you grew up with a poster of Dawson Leery on your wall, prepare to feel very, very old. On Tuesday James Van Der Beek announced via Twitter that his wife gave birth to a baby boy. “Had my first son this morning… well, actually, my wife had him. I just caught him. Wow. Heart expanding way faster than my brain,” he wrote. “If you could bottle up and distribute this feeling, I swear there’d be no more war. #fatherhood”
The pair already have a daughter named Olivia, who’s 17-months-old. Van Der Beek has his work cut out for him over the next few weeks. In addition to doing diaper duty he’ll be promoting his new series Don’t Trust the B— in Apt. 23, which premiere on April 11.
