Jamie Foxx & Adam Sandler team up for charity softball game

Jamie Foxx, Adam Sandler, and Charlie Sheen were among the stars who took part in a celebrity softball game over the weekend to raise funds for those affected by the Borderline club shooting in Thousand Oaks, California.
The trio was joined by Zachary Levi, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Brad Paisley, Jon Lovitz, Dennis Rodman, Rainn Wilson, and Jaleel White for the game in Malibu to benefit California Strong at Pepperdine University on Sunday (13Jan19).
A portion of the charity proceeds will also be given to those who lost their homes in the state’s 2018 wildfires.
Milwaukee Brewers stars Ryan Braun, Christian Yelich and Mike Moustakas, and Los Angeles Dodgers’ Justin Turner also joined in the fun, while singer Pia Toscano performed the U.S. National Anthem before the game.
“We all grew up in these areas, and we saw how much people were struggling and how much help people needed,” Yelich told People. “We didn’t know how California Strong would develop to what it is today, but we just wanted to help out and get people back on their feet from losing everything in their lives.”
