Jamie Lynn Spears‘ 8-year old daughter Maddie was seriously injured after being involved in an ATV accident over the weekend. On Sunday, the Polaris off-road vehicle Maddie was riding flipped over leaving the child underwater for several minutes.
Spears’ father, Jamie Spears told Entertainment Tonight, “All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie.” Though details surrounding the incident are sparse at this time, we do know that Maddie’s mom, 25-year old Jamie Lynn was not present at the time of the incident.
TMZ is reporting that she was airlifted to a nearby hospital.
A rep for the family has said, “Right now the Spears family asks that everyone respect their privacy during this time and appreciates all the prayers and support for their family.”
