Biography

Jasmin Tabatabai was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Tabatabai began her acting career with roles in such films as "Kinder der Landstrasse" (1992), "Die Mediocren" (1994) and the dramatic comedy "Loose Ends" (1996) with Regula Grauwiller. She also appeared in the drama "Gomez" (1998) with Antonio Wannek, "Nights, Gambled Away" (1998) and "Greedy" (1999). Her film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like the comedy "Late Show" (1999) with Thomas Gottschalk, the dramatic adaptation "Gripsholm" (2000) with Ulrich Noethen and the Hannelore Elsner drama "No Place to Go" (2001). Recently, she tackled roles in "Sproet 2" (2004) with Dominique Horwitz, "Unveiled" (2005) and "Elementarteilchen" (2006) with Moritz Bleibtreu. She also appeared in the Olivier Martinez dramatic adaptation "Blood and Chocolate" (2007) and the Parker Posey thriller sequel "Fay Grim" (2007).
