Suicide Squad star Jay Hernandez has emerged as the frontrunner to take over the role of Thomas Magnum in the TV reboot of Tom Selleck’s hit series.
The actor is reportedly in talks to front the Magnum P.I. pilot, which Justin Lin will direct.
As previously reported, the new show will revolved around a decorated ex-Navy SEAL who becomes a private investigator. Magnum teams other with a band of fellow veterans to take on tough cases the police won’t touch.
