News this disappointing can really take a toll on you: JC Chasez has announced that an ‘NSYNC reunion “is just not in the cards.” The world gets a little darker on days like this.
When asked about the possibility of reconvening with his fellow band members from the late-’90s music staple, Chasez told The Hollywood Reporter, “I’m sure that everybody in my group has been asked at one time or another — I know I get asked, I know the other guys get asked — but we’re happy with what it was and we’re happy to move on.”
This begs the question: what exactly are the rest of the ‘NSYNC boys up to?
Last the world heard from Lance Bass, he was working on a boy band reality show. Joey Fatone is set to appear in the upcoming TV movie, Jersey Shore Shark Attack alongside Vinny Guadagnino. And the last time anyone saw Chris Kirkpatrick was during an appearance on Dancing with the Stars in 2008. Wait, wasn’t there another member of ‘NSYNC? Oh yeah, Mr. Justin Timberlake, who is reportedly set to marry Jessica Biel this summer.
Chasez himself doesn’t exactly have a clear plate. Aside from saving babies’ lives, he is cast in the developing action film Red Sky.
And of course, ‘NSYNC isn’t the only millennial boy band who fans would love to see get back together. It was announced at the end of March that 98 Degrees will be finding their way back into each other’s lives. The Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block are presently involved in an international tour that is set to last until early June.
