Jenna Dewan-Tatum almost fainted at the Oscars

Actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum feared she would faint at the Oscars after pregnancy hormones left her feeling light-headed on the red carpet. The Step Up star was six-and-a-half months pregnant when she stepped out to support husband Channing Tatum at the Academy Awards in February (13) and she reveals she had to unzip the back of her dress while watching the live show to avoid passing out.
She says, “I walk the Oscars and I’m like, ‘I’m good, my hormones, I’m a little hot, but this is OK though’. We sit in the third row. I’m literally (next to) Jessica Chastain and Meryl Streep and all these people and then Seth (MacFarlane, the host) comes out and I’m like, ‘OK here we go, I’m excited,’ and I sit and all of a sudden I’m like, ‘Oh no, oh no…’
“It takes you over, I’m like, ‘Am I going to pass out, am I going to faint…? I can’t do this, I cannot be the person that passes out live at the Oscars’. So I discreetly reach back and undo my dress a little bit, and I was like, ‘Aah,’ and I sat there. So nobody knows that I sat there the whole time with my dress completely undone.”
The actress gave birth to her first child, Everly, in London in May (13).
