Biography

Jerry Brown has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Brown's early roles were in dramas like "Ben-Hur" (1959) with Charlton Heston and Jack Hawkins and "Oklahoma Crude" (1973). He had a part on the television special "Alan King Looks Back in Anger -- A Review of 1972" (ABC, 1972-73). Additionally, he later acted in "Rolling Thunder" (1977). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Power and the Presidency" (1973-74), "Democratic Presidential Candidate Debate" (PBS, 1991-92) and "Democracy in Action" (PBS, 1992-93). Brown focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the comedy "Feed" (1992) with George Bush Sr. and the Robert Downey Jr. documentary "The Last Party" (1993). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Firing Line Special Debate (09/11/92)" (PBS, 1992-93) and "Life Remembers" (TNT, 1993-94). Brown most recently appeared on "So, You Want to Be President" (1999-2000).
