Jerry Ferrara countersues over sandwich shop deal

Actor Jerry Ferrara has launched a million-dollar countersuit against his sandwich shop partners.
The former Entourage star was hit with legal action in August (16) by executives of The Gayley Group, which runs Fat Sal’s sandwich shops, as they wanted to remove him as partner in the business.
They claimed the actor, who co-owns and promotes the chain, began asking for a 10 per cent ownership stake when they expanded to more branches. Ferrara allegedly got his lawyers involved after they denied him what he wanted and offered 5 per cent instead.
According to TMZ.com, Ferrara has now fired back with his own lawsuit, in which he claimed he co-founded Fat Sal’s with two friends, provided $74,500 (£59,000) to help kickstart the business, used his celebrity status to promote it and was the “driving force” behind its growth.
He alleges they removed his co-founder credit from their website and hide their profits from him when they began “squeezing him out” following the opening of several new locations.
In the suit, he is demanding his equity share and at least a million dollars in damages from his former pals before they can get rid of him.
