Biography

In addition to a professional career in football, Jerry Rice also made a presence in the entertainment business. Rice started in the industry by acting in films like the Scott Bakula sports comedy "Necessary Roughness" (1991). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Night of 100 Stars III" (1989-1990), "ABC's Monday Night Football Mania!" (ABC, 1996-97) and "The Magic Jersey" (Disney, 1998-99). In the early 2000s, he worked on the television shows "The Biggest Loser" (NBC, 2004-) and "Rules of Engagement" (CBS, 2006-2013). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Joe Montana" (2001-02) and "The Great American History Quiz: For Kids" (History, 2001-02). More recently, he tackled roles on "The Class" (2006-07), "The Game" (2006-15) and "Wanna Bet?" (ABC, 2007-08). He also appeared in "4th and Long" (2008-09), "The T.O.
