Biography

Jessica James was widely known for her acting on the big screen. James started her acting career landing roles in such films as the Glenn Ford western "Heaven With a Gun" (1969), the documentary "Underground and Emigrants" (1975) with Greta Keller and "So Fine" (1981). She also appeared in the Saul Rubinek comedy "Soup For One" (1982), the crime picture "I, the Jury" (1982) with Armand Assante and "Diner" (1982) with Steve Guttenberg. Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "Spring Break" (1983), the comedy "Easy Money" (1983) with Rodney Dangerfield and the thriller "Power" (1986) with Richard Gere. She held additional roles in television including a part on "Major Dad" (1989-1993). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "The 10th Kingdom" (1999-2000). James also acted in "Il Mio West." Jessica James passed away in May 1990 at the age of 60.
