Actor-musician Joe Williams made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. Williams worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "All of Me" (1984) starring Steve Martin, "City Heat" (1984), the Robin Williams and Forest Whitaker box office smash "Good Morning, Vietnam" (1987), "Sharky's Machine" with Burt Reynolds (1981), "Sing Sing Thanksgiving" (1974) and "The Moonshine War" (1970) starring Patrick McGoohan. In the eighties and the nineties, Williams devoted his time to various credits, such as "Sesame Street, Special" (PBS, 1987-88), "The Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts" (CBS, 1987-88), "She's Out Of Control" with Tony Danza (1989) and "Wild At Heart" (1990) starring Nicolas Cage. He also appeared at "The 34th Annual Grammy Awards" (1991-92). Williams also contributed music to the crime drama "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" (1997) with Kevin Spacey. Most recently, Williams provided music for the Robert Downey Jr. box office smash action picture "Iron Man 3" (2013).
