John Frusciante finalises divorce

Rocker John Frusciante has finalised his divorce after agreeing to hand over $1.6 million (£1.29 million) to his ex-wife.
The former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist split from Nicole Turley in May, 2015, and handed over an initial payment of $20,000 (£16,000) to help her out as they worked out their divorce.
The break-up turned nasty as Turley demanded more money to maintain the lifestyle she had become accustomed to, and a year ago (Oct15), Frusciante was forced to increase his temporary spousal support to just over $53,000 (£42,600) a month. A Los Angeles judge also ordered the musician to cover his ex’s living expenses and legal bill.
However, the two parties have since reached a settlement, with Frusciante making a one-time payment of $1.6 million, and covering a chunk of her legal fees, according to TMZ.com.
Nicole will keep her four paintings by Lou Reed’s artist widow Laurie Anderson, a travel studio her former husband had built for her, and her Toyota Prius, while John holds the keys to four homes in Los Angeles, and maintains all master recordings and compositions made before, during, and after their marriage, which includes his contributions to the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 1991 album Blood Sugar Sex Magik and smash hit Give It Away.
The former couple wed in 2011.
