Jose Zuniga walks away from SUV crash

Actor Jose Zuniga has walked away unscathed after crashing his car into a bus stop in Hollywood. The former CSI: Crime Scene Investigation star, who played Detective Chris Cavaliere, claims his white SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) was bumped by another car on Monday afternoon (14Apr14), sending him careening through a bus stop window and ending up in a construction area.
The hood of his SUV was completely damaged by the accident, while the impact of the crash shattered his windscreen, and Zuniga admits he is lucky to be alive.
He tells TMZ.com, “I got rear-ended… I’m good… Crazy, my life is saved.”
A third car was also involved in the traffic incident, but the damage to the two other vehicles was not as severe.
Firefighters attended to the scene of the accident but luckily, no injuries were reported.
