Actress Joyce Gordon appeared on the big screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Gordon began her acting career appearing in various films, such as the Alan Arkin comedy "Improper Channels" (1979), "Killing 'em Softly" (1981) and the Steve Guttenberg action picture "Police Academy" (1984). She also appeared in the Kristy McNichol romance "Just the Way You Are" (1984). Her passion for acting continued to her roles in projects like "The Housekeeper" (1987) with Rita Tushingham, the Diane Keaton drama "The Good Mother" (1988) and the action flick "Renegades" (1989) with Kiefer Sutherland. She also appeared in "Billy Madison" (1995) with Adam Sandler. Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Dreams in the Golden Country" (HBO, 1998-99). Most recently, Gordon appeared in "Crazy for Christmas" (Lifetime, 2005-06).
