Biography

Actor Juan Carlos Hernández was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. Hernández kickstarted his acting career appearing on various dramas, including "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "100 Centre Street" (A&E Network, 2000-02). He also landed roles in various films, such as "Rum and Coke" (1999) and "High Crimes" (2002). Several more television roles followed in the early 2000s, including stints on "The Jury" (Fox, 2003-04) and "Conviction (NBC)" (NBC, 2005-06). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Undefeated" (HBO, 2002-03). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the David Thornton comedy "Garmento" (2003), the crime sequel "Carlito's Way Rise To Power" (2005) with Jay Hernandez and the Tom Cruise box office smash sci-fi motion picture "War of the Worlds" (2005). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "The Jury" (Fox, 2003-04) and "Conviction (NBC)" (NBC, 2005-06).
